Bungo Stray Dogs on Stage: Storm Bringer to Have Global Live Stream

Bungo Stray Dogs on Stage: Storm Bringer will be having a global live stream, as announced on their official Twitter account. The global live stream will cover the Tokyo evening show on June 26th, at 1:00 PT (17:00 JST), at the Nippon Seinen-kan Hall. In addition, a catch-up of this stream will be available with English subtitles at a later date. It will allow as many rewatches as you like during the archive period. 

Other than the global live stream with English subtitles, the website also announced that the Japan and Osaka performances also offer live and archive streaming with different camera viewpoints. Tickets to the live streaming are now on sale for 15 USD. As of writing, details regarding the tickets for the English subtitles stream are yet to be announced.

Bungo Stray Dogs on Stage: Storm Bringer is based on the light novel of the same name by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. The English version of the light novel by Yen Press will release on June 28, 2022. Yen Press describes the novel’s plot:

“It’s been roughly one year since Chuuya Nakahara joined the Port Mafia, and he’s determined to become an executive before fellow mafioso Osamu Dazai. However, a man by the name of Paul Verlaine—the king of assassins who claims to be Chuuya’s older brother—suddenly appears, vowing to murder everyone he cares about! Now Chuuya must team up with Adam, an AI investigator from Europe, to stop this madman before another storm engulfs Yokohama. Along the way, many truths will be revealed…including the answer to Chuuya’s most pressing question: Is he himself even human?”

Bungo Stray Dogs is a manga by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. An anime adaptation by Studio Bones aired in 2016 and 2019. A fourth season was recently announced. There is also an animated movie adaptation, OVA, light novels, stage plays, and a live-action movie.
