Classroom of the Elite recently announced a new anime project, which we now know consists of two new seasons: Season 2 which is set to release this July, and Season 3 which is coming in 2023. The information was revealed during a special presentation on KADOKAWA’s YouTube channel earlier today. A special trailer for the new project has also been revealed:
Studio Lerche is returning to animate both Season 2 and Season 3 of the Classroom of the Elite anime and in addition to the release dates and the trailer, the new project also revealed a new visual which features the main character Kiyotaka Ayanokouji:
Shogo Kinugasa, the author of the Classroom of the Elite light novel, also announced that he is working on a new project that should be out before season 2 begins airing. The light novel was illustrated by Tomose Shunsaku. The new anime project is set to cover the entirety of the Year 1 arc, which was serialized from May 2015 until September 2019 and compiled into 14 volumes. A manga adaptation with art by Kawaisounako is currently ongoing.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the original light novel and the manga and describes the plot as:
