The upcoming SPY x FAMILY anime adaptation revealed a new key visual. The anime begins airing on April 9, 2022, and will have a split cour. Additional staff information was also revealed.
WIT Studio (Ranking of Kings) and CloverWorks (My Dress-Up Darling) are animating the series, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi as the director and Kazuaki Shimada as the character designer. (K)NoW_NAME is producing the music. New staff additions include:
- Chief animation directors: Kyoji Asano and Kazuaki Shimada
- Assistant directors: Takashi Katagiri, Norihito Takahashi, Takahiro Harada
- Color design: Ken Hashimoto
- Art directors: Kazuo Nagai, Hisayo Usui
- Sound director: Shouji Hata
- CG director: Kana Imagaki
The main cast was previously announced:
- Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger
- Saori Hayami as Yor Forger
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger

SPY x FAMILY is based on a manga by Tatsuya Endo and is available to read on Manga Plus app which describes the plot as:
The master spy codenamed <Twilight> has spent his days on undercover missions, all for the dream of a better world. But one day, he receives a particularly difficult new order from command. For his mission, he must form a temporary family and start a new life?! A Spy/Action/Comedy about a one-of-a-kind family!
