Episode 7 of The Dawn of the Witch anime has been delayed to May 26, from the May 19 original release date. The reason for the postponement was not given. Studio Tezuka Productions is animating the anime which is based on a light novel by Kakeru Kobashiri and serves as a sequel to the Grimoire of Zero.
The Dawn of the Witch anime started airing on April 7, 2022. Satoshi Kuwabara is directing the anime and overseeing series composition. Reina Iwasaki is in charge of character designs, while Tatsuhiko Saiki is composing the music. FripSide is performing the opening song titled “Dawn of Infinity” and ▽▲TRiNITY▲▽ was in charge of the ending heme“Imprinting“.
The Dawn of the Witch light novel has been serialized in Kodansha Lanove Bunko since 2018. The light novel features art by Takashi Iwasaki. A manga adaptation by Tatsuwo has been ongoing since 2019. Kodansha is publishing the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
Saybil is a magic student with no memories of his life before he met a mysterious silver-haired woman in an alley. Now he travels with his teacher, Loux—another student, Holt, and the beastfallen Kudo for “special training”… but this field trip may not be as routine as it seems!
In addition to The Dawn of the Witch episode 7 delay, TBS also announced that the seventh episode of The Demon Girl Next Door Season 2 will be postponed. Both episodes were set to air on the same day, which points to scheduling issues. Studio Doga Kobo also announced the delay of their upcoming Technoroid Overmind anime today.
