Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) TV anime adaptation has revealed its first teaser trailer, as well as a new visual, cast and staff information. Studio TRIGGER is animating, and the anime was previously announced with a teaser visual. The studio previously also animated a 30-second video for the promotion of the manga’s 8th compilation volume, and you can watch the new trailer below:
The main cast consists of Kentaro Kumagai as Laios, Sayaka Senbongi as Marcille, Asuna Tomari as Chilchuck, and Hiroshi Naka as Senshi. Also check out the new visual:
Ryoko Kui writes and draws the original Delicious in Dungeon manga, which has been serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine since February 2014. Yen Press licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
