Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc On Funimation & Crunchyroll This Sunday

After the episodic version of the Mugen Train Arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc will begin on both Funimation and Crunchyroll this Sunday, December 5. The first episode will be 1 hour long, and it will include new theme songs by Aimer. The opening theme is “Zankyosanka” and the ending theme is ”Asa ga kuru”. Check out the new trailer:

The new arc will finally let us hear Miyuki Sawashiro in Demon Slayer, who was cast as the Upper Moon 6, Daki! It will also have Uzui Tengen (CV: Katsuyuki Konishi) join Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko, and they’ll be facing a new challenge with the Sound Hashira. The key visual for the upcoming arc:

The official synopsis for the Entertainment District Arc (Volume 9 of the manga):

Tanjiro and his friends accompany the Hashira Tengen Uzui to an entertainment district where Tengen’s female ninja agents were gathering information on a demon before they suddenly disappeared. In order to investigate, Tanjiro and the others disguise themselves as women to sneak in! 

Both Funimation and Crunchyroll will have the premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc the same day as Japan, and it’s almost here!
