Demon Slayer Final Volume to Be Advertised in National Newspapers

The final, 23rd volume of Demon Slayer is due out on December 4, 2020. It’s advertised today in the evening newspaper of Asahi Shimbun, Yomiuri Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, and Sankei Shimbun, which are five biggest newspapers in Japan. Sankei Shimbun releases its evening newspaper only in Kinki region: Osaka, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama, and Hyogo prefecture.

The advertisement quotes words from the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Ubuyashiki Kagaya: I know something about eternity. It is nothing but human thoughts. Thoughts last for eternity. They are indestructible.
Also, it concludes with a phrase at the bottom: Everything ends, and everything starts. The last volume is finally released.

Gotouge Koyoharu‘s Demon Slayer, also known as Kimetsu no Yaiba, ended on May 18, 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump. However, the series never ceases to amaze us in many fields such as the film, Infinite Train‘s ongoing record-breaking hit. The blockbuster film is looking to conquer Ghibli‘s Spirited Away and become the top-grossing movie of all time in Japan. December has just started, and we look forward to seeing what comes next by the end of the year.

It goes without saying that the COVID-19 pandemic is still growing, and the same goes for Japan. Demon Slayer’s final volume hits the shelves tomorrow. It wouldn’t be surprising if people could make lines to get one for themselves at book shops. Now let’s make sure again we do our bit to tackle COVID-19. Washing hands, wearing a mask, and so on. Taking care of yourself is important not only for you, but also for your family, friends, and others.
