Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc (Season 3) anime has revealed the preview image and synopsis for episode 2, which will premiere on April 16. Ufotable is once again animating the sequel. The title of episode 2 is “Yoriichi Type Zero” and you can see the preview image featuring the boy we saw in the first episode:

Tanjiro, who has angered Haganezuka because of the broken blade, decides to head to the Swordsmith Village with Nezuko. In one of the important bases for demon slayers, the deeply hidden Swordsmith Village, Tanjiro reunites with his classmate Genya Shinazugawa and the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji. While Tanjiro, who heard about the existence of a secret weapon from Mitsuri, is exploring the mountains, he sees the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, arguing with a boy from the village about something…
The anime began with a 1-hour special episode, and Crunchyroll is streamiing it outside Japan. The Swordsmith Village Arc begins in volume 10 of the manga. VIZ describes the story:
For the first time in over 100 years, the upper ranks of Muzan Kibutsuji’s Twelve Kizuki are not full. Angered, Muzan dispatches the survivors on another mission.
