Dr. Stone Season 3 will premiere in 2023, while a TV special focusing on Ryusui is coming in Summer 2022. as announced during Jump Festa 2022 on Sunday. A new teaser trailer and key visual for the series were also revealed.

Even though Shinya Iino was the director for both season one and season two, it is still unknown whether or not he’ll be back for Season 3. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars aired at the beginning of 2021 covering chapters 60-84 of the manga.
It’s still up in the air how the anime will adapt the next two arcs–Age of Exploration then Treasure Island. There will be a special episode in Summer 2022 that will introduce fans to Ryusui Nanami.
He is introduced to us in chapter 85 of the manga, which would leave 15 more chapters of the Age of Exploration arc to be covered, along with Treasure Islands 38 chapters.
Depending on the episode count, season three might also cover the entire Treasure Island arc as well. Season one (24 episodes) covered the first 60 chapters of the manga while season two (11 episodes) covered only 20 chapters (60-84).
There was also an announcement for the upcoming Ryusui special which will be premiering in Summer 2022. The special will be focusing on the character Ryusui Nanami, who will play a vital role in the anime in the upcoming season. Fans got a sneak peak of Ryusui’s stone statue when it was revealed at the end of the seasonal two finale.
