The previously announced Dungeon People anime revealed its first trailer at Anime Japan 2024. Voice actresses Sayaka Sembongi (Marcille Donato in Delicious in Dungeon) and Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika Ijichi in Bocchi the Rock!) who star in the show as Clay and Belle respectively, were present at the stage event. The anime premieres this July.
Sayaka Yamai (Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout) is directing the anime at studio OLM (The Apothecary Diaries). Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout) is supervising the series composition while Hiromi Nakayama (Odd Taxi) is designing the characters. A teaser visual was unveiled earlier this month.
Dungeon People anime is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Sui Futami. It began serialization in Futabasha’s Web Comic Action in June 2020. It has 4 volumes currently available. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga in English and they describe it as follows:
