From slaying demons to now dominating the seiyuu polls, Atsumi Tanezaki emerges as the undisputed best voice actress of this season. After falling short in the 2022 Fall season rankings, she has now risen to the occasion to showcase her exceptional voice range. Tanezaki’s first-place finish is well-deserved, considering her versatile performances in diverse roles. From portraying the stoic Frieren the Slayer in Frieren Beyond Journey’s End to bringing life to the adorable Anya Forger in Spy x Family Season 2, the meek Chise Hatori in The Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Part 2, the enchanting Gyokuyou in The Apothecary Diaries, and even taking on the role of Lu, a Fenrir, in I’m Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness.
Coming in the runner-up position is Asami Seto, another voice actress who also has an extensive voice range. Typically recognized for her portrayals of cool and composed characters, Seto also showcased her versatility this season. She lent her voice to characters like Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Raphtalia in The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3, Nano in 100 Girlfriends That Really Really Really Really Really Love You, and Tsubasa in B-Project: Passion Love Call.
Securing the third spot is the one and only Aoi Yuki, who delivered a graceful performance as the poison-loving Maomao in The Apothecary Diaries. Saori Hayami and Kana Ichinose, co-stars alongside Atsumi Tanezaki in Spy x Family and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, respectively, claim the fourth and fifth rank and solidifying their places among the top-tier seiyuus of the season.

The extremely passionate voice actor, Junya Enoki takes the spotlight as the best male seiyuu of the season! Enoki’s outstanding performances as Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Naoya Mukai in Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 2, Totomaru Ishiki in Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions, and Daigo Toake in Firefighter Diago: Rescuer in Orange earned him his well-deserved coveted first-place rank. His commitment, even going so far as to be on the floor to deliver lines, speaks volumes about his devotion to the field.
Securing the second position is the suave Junichi Suwabe, recognized for his “smooth” voice, charming us the audience with his roles as Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Belgrieve in My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer, and Lugner in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
In the third-place spot is Yuichi Nakamura known for his powerful portrayal of Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, along with great performances as Andy in Undead Unluck and Sein in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Rounding off the top 5 are Yuma Uchida who is in the fourth spot and Takuya Eguchi in the fifth spot, both leaving the season with their noteworthy performances.
The Fall season certainly didn’t “fall” short of expectations as it brought forth an extraordinary array of talents, allowing those often overshadowed to step into the spotlight and take the top spots they rightfully deserve. As more names gain recognition, the competition is only going to become even more intense from here.
Once again, we extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in our seasonal poll, and we look forward to seeing you on the next one.
