Recent Behind-The-Scenes of Jujutsu Kaisen VA Junya Enoki Captures Yuji's Chilling Breakdown

Season 3, Episode 14 of the documentary TV series Real Folder captured a behind-the-scenes look at the Jujutsu Kaisen voice actor Junya Enoki during Yuji’s mental breakdown scene after Sukuna’s rampage. First aired last week, the footage saw Enoki, who plays Yuji Itadori, voicing Yuji during the chilling scenes in the Shibuya arc after Sukuna took control of his body and went on a killing spree. The scene went viral, and was captured by a reaction account on X which can be watched below:

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 – Junya Enoki Voicing Yuji’s Breakdown Scene

Enoki’s ability to capture the rawness despite his recent COVID diagnosis speaks volumes to his voice acting ability. The breakdown which happened in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Episode 17, was also praised by Anime Corner’s Eric Himmelheber as a monumental task in which Enoki succeeded. Eric also dubs the episode the “best action episode of the year.” It’ll be unsurprising to see Enoki near the top of the upcoming Fall 2023 Seiyuu Rankings.

Crunchyroll streams both seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen, which is described:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.

Jujutsu Kaisen is still going hard in the Shibuya arc and stands a great chance of ending the Fall 2023 season as one of Anime Corner’s followers’ top anime. The latest poll is as always open here.
