Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime unveiled the preview for episode 11 titled “Winter on the Northern Lands,” on Tuesday. The episode is slated to premiere on Friday, November 17, and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll, Bilibili Global, Muse Asia, and Netflix. The synopsis of the upcoming episode is as follows:
Frieren, Fern, and Stark defeat Aura and her excutioners. Peace is restored, and Count Granat expresses his utmost gratitude to Frieren who was mourning for his own men who had been manipulated by Aura. Afterwards, Frieren and her party continue on their journey, but the winter road in the northern countries is much harder than they had imagined… There they meet a monk.
Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) is directing the series at studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than The Universe) with Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) as the scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as the music composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) as the character designer. Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger from Spy x Family) voices the titular character Frieren while Kana Ichinose and Chiaki Kobayashi play the role of Ferna and Stark respectively. YOASOBI performs the opening theme song “Yuusha” and milet sings the ending theme song titled “Anytime Anywhere.’

After the party of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to lives of solitude. Generations pass, and the elven mage Frieren comes face to face with humanity’s mortality. She takes on a new apprentice and promises to fulfill old friends’ dying wishes. Can an elven mind make peace with the nature of life and death? Frieren embarks on her quest to find out.
