Kazuha, one of Genshin Impact‘s most anticipated characters, has just received his own character teaser. A wandering samurai from Inazuma, Kaedehara Kazuha is scheduled to have his own banner that will be available at the end of June!
The talents of English VA Mark Whitten, Japanese VA Shimazaki Nobunaga, Chinese VA 斑马 (Bānmǎ), and Korean VA 김신우 (Kim Shin-woo) will be voicing Genshin Impact’s Kazuha! These actors are rich in experience and are quite recognizable in other media. Mark Whitten has lent his voice to games such as “Fire Emblem: Three Houses” and “Final Fantasy 7 Remake”. Shimazaki Nobunaga has also voiced characters in notable titles such as “Your Name”, “Fruits Basket”, and “Jujutsu Kaisen”. So it’s safe to say that Kazuha’s voice acting is in some really good hands!

The teaser provides a fascinating look at Kazuha, who serves as the game’s introduction to the mysterious land of Inazuma. It reveals that Kazuha is currently traveling with the Liyue Crux Fleet, alongside Captain Beidou. The samurai warns Beidou about an imminent battle while recalling a particular tumultuous evening he spent battling a number of mysterious figures. As he urges her to lower the sails, he utters a few ominous words. “A storm is coming.”
Kazuha is a mighty sword-wielding warrior, who has been blessed with an Anemo vision. His kit appears to be one that is based on plunge attacks, Anemo vortexes, and swirl damage. It will be fascinating to see what role the character will have on people’s teams. Whether he be the main damage dealer or a supporting character, Inazuma’s wandering samurai will no doubt be a strong addition to Genshin Impact.
Where do the wanderings of Kazuha take him? What is this “battle” that he speaks so ominously of? Only time will tell, as we wait for Kaedehara Kazuha to arrive on Genshin Impact’s servers!
