Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime released a new trailer ahead of the broadcast of the first cour’s finale, the 12th episode on Thursday. Due to a special January 1 program on the Japanese TBS, the episode titled “Keep Marching On Instead of Running Off” is scheduled to air on January 8, 2023. The anime’s broadcast schedule is split into two cours, and the first cour has been airing on Sundays since October 2. The second cour is slated for April 2023.
The newly-posted trailer features the two main characters, Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran, with the anime’s opening theme song “The Blessing” by YOASOBI. Kana Ichinose (Maki Shijo in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) is voicing Suletta Mercury while Lynn (Mafuyu Kirisu in We Never Learn) is playing the role of Miorine Rembran in the Gundam anime adaptation.

Sunrise is producing the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime under Hiroshi Kobayashi’s direction, with Ichiro Okochi’s scripts. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
A.S. (Ad Stella) 122― An era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system. A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group which dominates the mobile suit industry. Her name is Suletta Mercury. With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart, this girl walks step by step through a new world.
