Kana Ichinose, Suletta Mercury’s voice actress in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury anime, performed the first season’s ending theme song, “Kimiyo Kedakakuare,” on the CrosSing YouTube channel. The song was originally sung by Shiyui.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch from Mercury premiered in October 2022 with 13 episodes (prologue included) for the first season. The series returned with a second season with 12 episodes in April this year.
Aside from Suletta Mercury, Kana Ichinose voices a variety of roles such as Sayu Ogiwara in Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway, Ichigo in Darling in the FranXX, Tuesday in Carole and Tuesday, Maki Shijo in Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and Yuzuriha Ogawa in Dr. Stone. She will also play the role of Fern in the upcoming Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime which is set to premiere this September 29.
CrosSing is a project aimed at bringing together popular voice actors and singers, who then cover a song originally sung by someone else; Ayana Taketatsu is the latest person to cover a song for the channel. In the past, they have hosted Kana Hanazawa, Yui Ishikawa, Akari Kito, Masayoshi Oishi, Ayana Taketatsu, and more.
