Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle movie revealed a special “Thank You” trailer featuring the Nekoma High team. In addition, the movie also announced screening with English subtitles all over Japan starting on March 15. The movie had one of the biggest openings in Japan and in just 17 days, it earned over 5.1 billion yen with over 3.59 million admissions. Korean screenings will soon begin.
Yuki Kaji, who voices Kenma in the anime, tweeted about the new trailer: “Furudate-sensei, Thank you for teaching me volleyball. Kenma, Thank you for meeting me.“

Chief animation director Takahiro Chiba recently drew illustrations of Hinata, Kageyama, Kenma, and Kuroo for Japanese magazine anan.
Haikyu is based on a manga by Haruichi Furudate which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020. The manga ended after 405 chapters, compiled into 45 volumes. Viz Media licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
