Hamefura season 2 episode 4 has aired and the villainess has another member added to her harem. Moreover, in this episode, we got to witness Rufus’ past, his plans, and how he fell in love with Katarina. We also got to see how Katarina was saved and reunited with her friends.
In this episode, Rufus revealed his story and his intentions. His real intention is to make the first prince king under the command of his master. He kidnapped Katarina in the guise of Selena’s orders. By doing so, he eliminates two contenders to the throne. Talk about killing two birds in one stone.
Additionally, Rufus confirmed that he has dark magic. He only roughly explained how he got his powers though. Maybe that’s a story for another episode.
Earlier, Rufus told Katarina that was born in the slums. He lived in a poor state of life until an outsider came to his turf one day. The outsider took care of him and taught him a lot of things. Sad to say, the person who took care of him fell ill and needed some expensive medicine. In order to save him, Rufus tried to steal from the nobles but he failed in the end.
In the world of Hamefura, we all know no one can resist Katarina’s charms. Her cheerfulness mixed with her gullible personality attracted the butler. During their conversation, Rufus set the mood and almost kissed Katarina. Unfortunately, Katarina’s growling stomach interrupted the attempted kiss. The villainess was blushing in the end though which could mean something. She also admired Rufus’ looks while they were really close to each other.
During dinner, the two got even closer. Katarina’s personality reminds Rufus of the person that once took care of him. The villainess then made a promise to travel with him. In order to keep the promise, she took out the brooch that she bought at the festival way back in the first episode.
Knowing his fate and before being captured, Rufus says goodbye to Katarina while keeping his promise. The rest of Katarina’s friends rushed to her room. Lana, the one who took care of Katarina during her captive also revealed her true identity. Meanwhile, Prince Ian and Selena had a sweet moment together.
The episode ended with Katarina reunited with her friends and Geordo kissing her in front of their friends.
Hamefura season 2 Episode 4 is certainly is one of the best, if not the best, episodes so far. A lot of unforgettable scenes happened in this episode. The gullible Katarina never fails to charm everyone. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hamefura episode without Katarina eating and we get to see more of that as well. What’s more, Katarina’s harem is growing bigger as Rufus is added into the mix.
The sudden and intimate scenes between Rufus and Katarina were really surprising. Not to mention, Geordo and Katarina’s first kiss that made everyone scream right at the end to finish off this amazing episode.
