Henjin no Salad Bowl Anime Premieres April 2024, First Trailer Released

Henjin no Salad Bowl (A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) anime has released its first trailer, alongside an April 2024 premiere date and details on the main cast. Studios Comet and SynergySP are animating the series.

The main cast includes Makoto Furukawa as Sosuke, Hinaki Yano as Sara, and M.A.O as Livia. Masafumi Sato is directing the anime, while Yomi Hirasaka and Kenichi Yamashita are the scriptwriters, and Kazuhiro Fukichi doing the character designs.

The Henjin no Salad Bowl anime is based on a light novel series written by Yomi Hirasaka and illustrated by Kantoku. It began imprinting in Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko in October 2021. There are currently five volumes released/ A manga adaptation with art by Kotaro Yamada is currently being serialized in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry.

A summary of the story via Gagaga Bunko reads:
The story follows the poor detective Sousuke Kaburaya who meets Sara, a princess from another world who wields magic. Sosuke gradually begins living with Sara, though she adapts to modern-day Japan quickly. Meanwhile. the female knight Livia, who transferred after Sara, lives as a homeless person but enjoys surprisingly enjoyable days. These two have a profound influence on Sousuke and other eccentrics living in the land.
