Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools anime has revealed the first teaser trailer, along with the main cast, staff, and 2024 premiere date. Saori Oonishi will voice the titular Dahlia Rosetti, with Atsushi Tamaru voicing the knight Wolfred Scalfarotto. Check out the first teaser trailer below.
Dahlia in Bloom (Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai: Kyou kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Life) novel by Hisaya Amagishi was originally published on the user-generated Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2018. Media Factory picked it up in October 2018 and began publishing it with Kei’s illustrations. The first manga adaptation, Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai: Kyou Kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Life by Kamada was published in the Comp Ace magazine from 2019 to 2020. It had a total of ten chapters, compiled into two volumes. The second manga series by Megumi Sumikawa has been serialized in Comic Blade magazine and was licensed as Magic Artisan Dahlia Wilts No More.

The last thing she saw was her cluttered desk covered in documents. Working through the night, her heart suddenly stopped. In this world she lives in, there are “magical tools” that make people’s lives more convenient. Her father, Carlo, is a slovenly yet respected magical tool artisan. Admiring the magical tools created by Carlo, Dahlia decides to become a magical tool artisan herself. This is the story of how she faces forward as a magical tool artisan and blossoms.
