Hololive Super Expo, the largest online/offline event hosted by VTuber agency Hololive, is back at it again in full swing for its second day of the event. Both audiences–physical and online—locked to the venue and the online waiting room respectively to catch up with the latest happenings for the event.
On the online side of things, the Expo’s second day started off with a segment from the Hololive English Council members: Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Hakos Baelz; as well as Project HOPE’s IRyS in a game segment where they debate who is considered the “Queen” among of them. Through various questions presented by IRyS, Council members each gave their own opinion and debated why the particular member was chosen. At the end of the segment, Fauna emerged as the winner of the segment, while also being given the title “Debate Queen”.
Following that segment, a quirky yet romantic segment was introduced with Hololive members Minato Aqua, Oozora Subaru, Houshou Marine, and Himemori Luna. The catch? Which of the three members of the panel will be able to make Houshou Marine’s heart beat fast? During the segment, the three members were given their time slots to set the mood and convince Marine romantically, measured by a heart rate monitor attached to Marine. In the end, Subaru won the round, using her deep-voice persona to woo Marine.
Meanwhile, over at the Holostars’ channel, unit members Hanasaki Miyabi, Yukoku Roberu, Kishido Tenma, and Kageyama Shien take part in several challenges to test out their skills, including some hilarious fits in doing exercises. The endeavor lasted for 30 minutes, which many of the viewers liked.
Later on, a new segment has been introduced with members Sakura Miko, Ookami Mio, Yuzuki Choco, and Omaru Polka doing a “what-if” challenge if they happen to dial up their mother’s number, and what excuse they can give to sound convincing. Then, a segment by Tokino Sora, Tokoyami Towa, Anya Melfissa, and IRyS challenged them to an entertaining segment of trying their best not to speak any English words.
As a recap as to what is happening on ground at Super Expo, Momosuzu Nene and Omaru Polka took viewers to a tour of the physical venue, where they showed fans lining up to a mock temple and writing wishes for the Hololive members. As the event is bustling with activity, the tour also showed many fans with their own purchased merchandise from the event. In addition, Nene and Polka also showed tweets made by the fans who were present in the event.
After the physical tour, IRyS and the rest of the Hololive Council returned for a karaoke session, where they performed covers of some songs, as well as their very own original tracks, such as Hakos Baelz’s “Play Dice” and Ouro Kronii’s “Daydream”. Later on, Hololive Indonesia’s second generation Pavolia Reine, Kureji Ollie, and Anya Melfissa made a segment discussing how their local division started, how they are doing, and what plans they have in the future. The free segment of the online deliverable ended with the HoloX lineup Laplus Darkness, Takane Lui, Hakui Koyori, Sakamata Chloe, and Kazama Iroha discuss as to which of them have the stream schedule as shown on stream.
As the stream drew to an end, viewers were given a huge announcement: Hololive will be debuting a so-called “Live2D 3.0” version of some of their talents, including added external assets and more expressions on the talent’s avatar. The stream then paves way to the Super Expo concert itself, 45 minutes of which are made free for viewing. This is despite Hololive previously announcing that the originally planned performance has been modified.
