The anticipated anime adaptation of HERO’s manga is coming! The official Twitter of the “Horimiya” anime project announced that it will premiere on January 9, 2021. Moreover, as we already know, studio CloverWorks is handling the production. Said studio previously produced shows such as The Promised Neverland, Darling in the FranXX, and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, among others. The latest visual for the anime:
There are also several trailers, and you can check them out here. In case you don’t know what Horimiya’s story is about, let me give you a quick rundown. Synopsis, according to Yen Press (edited by AC), is as follows:
A sweet “aww”-inspiring tale of school life begins!!
Kyouko Hori is smart, attractive, and popular. On the other hand, her classmate, the boring, gloomy Izumi Miyamura tends to get painted as a “loser fanboy.” But when a liberally pierced and tattooed (not to mention downright gorgeous) Miyamura appears unexpectedly on the doorstep of secretly plain-Jane homebody Hori, these two similarly dissimilar teenagers discover that there are multiple sides to every story…and person!
We can’t wait for the Horimiya anime to premiere in January! What’s more, we are sure that CloverWorks will deliver an awesome adaptation!
