Echidna from the upcoming I’m Quitting Heroing anime has received a character trailer. The fantasy anime series will premiere in April 2022.

Kaede Hondo is voicing Echidna, but Hitomi Owada (Lilith) is narrating the video. Kensho Ono (Leo Demonheart), Tetsu Inada (Edwald), Yumi Uchiyama (Melnes), and Shizuka Itou (Steina) are also voicing characters in the anime.
Hisashi Ishii (Rainy Cocoa in Hawaii) is directing the anime, with Yuu Nobuta (The Faraway Paladin) as the chief director. Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombieland Saga) is taking care of the series composition. Studio EMT Squared (Assassin’s Pride) is animating.
Quantum first launched I’m Quitting Heroing web novel series on the Kakuyomu website in January 2017. Fujimi Shobo is serializing a light novel adaptation with Hana Amano’s illustrations since December 2017. Kadokawa Shoten is also publishing a manga adaptation on Young Ace Up magazine and it currently has 5 volumes available.

After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo became someone who is not wanted in the peaceful human world. He was too strong. Exiled, he seeks a job at the Demon King’s Army, which he had defeated and needs to be rebuilt. The Army had many problems: too much work, financial troubles, etc. Leo starts to make things better using his power. Leo encounters Echidna again, and asks her why she invaded the human world. There was an unexpected story—!
