I’m Quitting Heroing anime has received a new trailer along with a key visual for the final part of the series. The exciting arc will begin in episode 10, which will air on June 7, 2022. You can watch the video below:
The video features the anime’s new ending song titled “De messiah”, by Nao Toyama. The song was first played at the ending of episode 9, which aired on May 31, 2022. The episode ended with Leo’s announcement that he was going to withdraw as the hero, and was going to destroy humanity if Echidna and the demon generals won’t kill him.

I’m Quitting Heroing anime premiered on April 5, 2022, and it currently has 9 episodes available. Hisashi Ishii is directing the series at studio EMT Squared, with Yuu Nobuta as the Chief Animation director. You can watch the series on HIDIVE.
The anime is based on Quantum’s I’m Quitting Heroing (Yusha, Yamemasu: Tsugi no Shokuba wa Maojo) light novel series. Fujimi Shobo serialized it with Hana Amano’s illustrations from 2017 until 2018, it had a total of 3 volumes available. A manga adaptation by Nori Kazato is being published by Kadokawa Shoten since 2018, and as of now, it has 6 volumes in circulation. Kadokawa NA licensed the original I’m Quitting Heroing light novels series and describes the plot as:
A Retired Hero tries to rebuild the Demon King’s Army—a story for those of you who are struggling with work!
After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo became someone who is not wanted in the peaceful human world. He was too strong.
Exiled, he seeks a job at the Demon King’s Army, which he had defeated and needs to be rebuilt.
The Army had many problems: too much work, financial troubles, etc. Leo starts to make things better using his power.
Leo encounters Echidna again, and asks her why she invaded the human world. There starts an unexpected story—!
