The preview for episode 1 of Insomniacs After School anime has been released. The first episode is set to premiere on April 10. Studio Liden Films is animating the series, under the direction of Yuki Ikeda.
While preparing for a cultural festival, Ganta Nakami, who was dozing off in a corner of the classroom, was asked by a girl in his class to go to the observatory to pick up some cardboard boxes. The observatory, converted into a storage room, is rumored to be haunted by the spirits of the former female astronomy club members.
As he makes his way to the observatory, he notices a girl sleeping inside and realizes it’s his classmate Isaki Magari. She suddenly wakes up, surprised by Ganta staring at her. They try to calm each other down and end up discussing a problem they are both facing: insomnia.
Rintaro Ikeda is doing the series composition, Hiroki Fukuda is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music. The cast for the anime includes:
