The Insomniacs After School anime has released a special ending theme following the airing of episode 7. The new theme is titled “Hertz”, performed by Homecomings, who also sang the previous ending “Lapse“.
The special ending theme of Insomniacs After School depicts Ganta Nakami and Isaki Magari as they talk using the app that Nakami discovered. During the conversation, Magariexplains how she had heart surgery when she was a child. After learning this, Nakami reassures her that he will help Magari get a good night’s sleep, even if it means staying up late for her.
Yuki Ikeda is directing the Insomniacs After School anime. Rintaro Ikeda is doing the series composition for the anime, Hiroki Fukuda is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music. The cast for the anime includes:

Insomniacs After School is based on a manga by Makoto Ojiro. The manga started serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comics Spirits magazine in 2019. Viz Media has recently licensed the manga in English.
