Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 9 Reveals Plot Details and New Illustration

Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 9, titled The JOJOLands, will focus on one boy’s path to millionaire status in subtropical islands, Shueisha’s monthly magazine Ultra Jump unveiled in the February 2023 issue. Along with information on the plot, the issue also unveiled a new illustration and preview pages.

The new manga will begin in the March 2023 issue, which is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2023. To celebrate the launch, the magazine’s physical copy will have a project in which all applicants will receive a special “The JOJOLands” shirt.

Araki Hirohiko originally serialized Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1986 to 2004. The manga was transferred to the company’s Ultra Jump magazine in 2005 during the serialization of Part 7 Steel Ball Run, which came to an end in April 2011. The next, JoJolion, began in May 2011 and ended in August 2021. The manga received multiple anime adaptations over the years, with the most recent ones being animated by studio David Production. The most recent adaptation, Stone Ocean, is streaming on Netflix.
