Jujutsu Kaisen and PUBG Mobile Collab Announced

Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to PUBG Mobile, the official PUBG Twitter page confirmed today. The collaboration won’t be available to players in Japan, or mainland China.

In yesterday’s video about upcoming events and gameplay details, PUBG Mobile teased at Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration. A teaser video is now available:

It will be interesting to see how Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Cursed Techniques are implemented in the PUBG Mobile game. The anime follows a group of exorcists with supernatural powers, so we are in for a promising collab.

PUBG MOBILE is a Battle Royale mobile game from Lightspeed & Quantum Studios of Tencent Game, officially licensed by PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. The game is free to play but has ads and in-game purchases. The winner is the last person standing. The game launched in March 2018 and is available on Android (both on the official site and Google Playstore) and iOS. A PC version also exists and is available on Steam.

Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime based on a manga by Gege Akutami. The manga started serialization in 2018, with anime adaptation coming out in 2020. Studio MAPPA animated the first season, which had 24 episodes. In addition, a prequel movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is coming in December.
