Jujutsu Kaisen Gets New Visual for Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event Arc

TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen has been rebroadcasting in Japan and a released a new visual for the upcoming arc, Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event, which is scheduled to begin on July 3. The visual features two characters from the anime, the protagonist Yuji Itadori and the Kyoto sister school’s Aoi Todo, fighting in the sky.

Gege Akutami has been drawing Jujutsu Kaisen in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since March 2018. The work has surpassed 65 million circulating copies as of April 4 when it released the 19th volume. Studio MAPPA animated the adaptation which aired from October 2020 to March 2021 under Sunghoo Park’s direction, along with the movie’s prelude Jujutsu Kaisen 0 which premiered on December 24, 2021, in Japan. The anime announced a 2023 release date for its second season.
