Natsuki Hanae, best known as voice actor of Tanjiro Kamado (Demon Slayer) and Ken Kaneki (Tokyo Ghoul), celebrated his 31st birthday on June 26 with his wife’s homemade tarts and cookies. The voice actor turned 31 on June 26 and posted a photo of the treats his wife made to celebrate his birthday:
“🎉I celebrated the 31st birthday🎉 I’ll enjoy [the day] this year, too!! My wife made presents for me again😭😭😭 Tarts ＆ cookies! Making me blush! Thanks!” he tweeted. The tweet (below) received more than 250k likes as of the time of writing. There seem to be 31 pieces of cookies based on his age and they look like enveloped letters. The third photo he shared has a birthday message from his wife “Happy birthday! Thank you always for making everybody smile 2022.6.26”.
Kensho Ono, who is known for Giorno Giovanna (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6) and who voiced Yuri Briar (Spy x Family) this season, quoted-tweeted on June 26 the photo post to send him a brief message with a congratulatory emoji with “HBD㊗️” caption. Hanae has over 2 million followers on Twitter and YouTube. The day before his birthday, he enjoyed playing AmangUS with his friends, Kensho Ono included, on June 24 in a stream called “Birthday Eve Eve” as it was two days ahead of his birthday. The stream is available as a video on Hanae’s YouTube channel, which features a photo of the voice actor’s cat, Konpei:
Around the end of the stream, one of the players, Kensho Ono and Limone Sensei, appeared at his place singing the Happy Birthday song while calling him “dear Hana-chan”.
They came to give their birthday presents to Natsuki Hanae. Limone Sensei handed over his and another attendant Siruko’s joint presents: Gucci infant girls’ wear for his children. The Italian luxury brand sells the product at a price of ¥61,600 JP Yen (＄455 US Dollars). Kensho Ono delivered a gift which he and Takuya Eguchi (Loid Forger in Spy x Family) jointly purchased: Louis Vuitton Aquarelle Box. The French luxury brand says it costs ¥211,200 JP Yen (≒＄1,562 US Dollars).
Natsuki Hanae announced his marriage in August 2016, and welcomed twin daughters, to his family in September 2020. Natsuki Hanae’s family celebrated his birthday last year as well, and back then he also posted photos of his wife’s rare orange cheesecake and his twin daughters. The voice actor played the role of Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul series. He is returning as Tanjiro Kamao in the third season of Demon Slayer, which will cover Swordsmith Village arc.
