The official Twitter account of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga revealed on Monday a cover illustration for the manga’s latest volume, Volume 21. The release date is set for December 2, 2022. The newly-unveiled cover illustration shows Hajime Kashimo, who made the first appearance in the 158th chapter, compiled in the 18th volume.

Gege Akutami is running the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since March 2018. The series released the first compiled volume in July of the year and surpassed 70 million circulating copies as of the release of the 20th volume in August 2022. Studio MAPPA is animating the anime series and the first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021 with a total of 24 episodes, along with Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie which premiered on December 24, 2021, in Japan. A second season is currently in production, which is scheduled to begin broadcasting in 2023 with consecutive two cours.
Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and will release the 18th volume on December 21, 2022. The official website describes the plot of volume 1 as:
