The previously announced Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade game has been delayed to spring 2023. The delay will serve to further improve the quality upon the release. The game was originally slated for 2022. A new trailer has been revealed:
The new trailer also features the theme song “Avant” by Eve. Sumzap is developing the Jujutsu Kaisen game, with Hiroshi Seko as the story supervisor. The game will be free to play with option in-game purchases. Phantom Parade will also feature three original characters:
Jujutsu Kaisen is based on a manga by Gege Akutami that is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English. The manga exceeded 70 million copies in circulation earlier this year.
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation by studio MAPPA premiered in 2020. The same studio also animated the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel movie, which is based on a one-shot manga of the same name. The second season is set for 2023 premiere and it will run for two consecutive cours. MAPPA also worked on the first trailer for the Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade game.
