Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Casts Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro's Voice Actor

JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 has revealed a July 6 premiere date at this year’s Anime Japan in a new trailer, which revealed that Takehito Koyasu will be the voice actor for Toji Fushiguro. MAPPA will be animating the sequel, which will have 2 consecutive cours. Check out the new trailer below:

Takehito Koyasu is the voice actor behind some very popular characters, such as Dio Brando, Zeke Yeager and Shinsuke Takasugi, and he seems like a great fit for Toji Fushiguro in JUJUTSU KAISEN. Previously, the character design for Toji was revealed, and the character will have an important role in the new season.

Studio MAPPA animated both the 24-episode first season and movie for the franchise. Akutami Gege writes and draws the original manga, which is licensed by VIZ Media in English. Crunchyroll streams both the anime and movie, and they describe the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
