The first trailer has been released for the previously announced Megumin spin-off TV anime titled KonoSuba: An Explosion On This Wonderful World, and it was revealed that it will premiere in 2023. Today marks the beginning of the 3rd anniversary celebration of the KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson movie, which will be screened until September 2. Studio Drive is in charge of the production, and you can watch the first trailer:

The original KonoSuba creator Natsume Akatsuki and illustrator Kurone Mishima also created the KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! light novel series. Kadokawa Shoten serialized it from 2014 to 2015, and it has a total of 3 volumes in circulation. Yen Press licensed it in English, and they describe the story:
