Koukyuu no Karasu Anime Adaptation Announced

The Japanese novel series Koukyuu no Karasu is going to receive an anime adaptation. The official Twitter of Orange Bunko announced it together with the information that the light novel series has exceeded 900,000 copies in circulation. There is still no information regarding the staff and the release date of the anime.

Koukyuu no Karasu is a Japanese fantasy series by Kouko Shirakawa with Ayuko’s illustrations. Shueisha started serializing it in April 2018. The light novel is still ongoing and it currently has 6 volumes available.

Koukyuu no Karasu light novel series follows Uki, a concubine who lives in the emperor’s palace. Although she’s a concubine, she’s never been called to the emperor’s chambers. Uki is mysterious and some claim that she is an old woman, while the others swear she has an appearance of a young girl. But, one thing is certain – she is a skilled magic user, who helps people with everything – from finding lost items to casting curses. One day, the emperor calls for her and their meeting is about to change the course of history…
