The Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible anime revealed a new illustration by Yoshiko Saito, the anime’s character designer, alongside the preview images of episode 1 on Wednesday. The image features the two main characters: Junta Shiraishi, who is holding an umbrella for Nagisa Kubo, the titular character. The first episode premieres on Tuesday, January 10.
Yoshiko Saito, Yasuyuki Noda, and Mayumi Hidaka are all credited as animation directors for episode 1. Studio PINE JAM is animating the series with the direction of Kazuomi Koga. Yuya Takahashi is writing the scripts and Yoshiko Saito is illustrating the character designs. Kana Hanazawa will be performing the opening theme while the voice actor unit Dialogue+ will be performing the ending theme. The cast of the series are:
