Preview images for episode 1 of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer anime have been released. The first episode will air on July 8 of this year. Studio Naz is animating the series, under the direction of Nobuaki Nakanishi.
The synopsis of episode 1 states that the main character, Yuhi Amamiya, receives a strange request from a talking lizard named Noi Crezant. The lizard asks him to save the world by protecting a princess named Samidare Asahina. According to the lizard, the princess is chased by an evil wizard who aims to destroy the world.
Crunchyroll and Muse Asia are streaming the anime, with Muse Asia describing the series as follows:
One day, an ordinary college student, Yuuhi Amamiya was asked to save the planet by a talking lizard. Before he even got the chance to refuse, he was chosen as a member of the Beast Knights, received the power of Domain Control through a mysterious ring, and was forced to fight for his life. However, right when it all seems lost, Yuuhi was saved by the girl who lives next door, Samidare, who, much of his surprise, was also plotting to destroy the planet herself. As a result, Yuuhi, charmed by her overwhelming strength and charisma, became her servant and joined her on her quest to destroy the planet.

The anime is based on a manga series by Satoshi Mizukami. It was serialized in the manga magazine Young King OURs from April 2005 to August 2010.
