The Summer 2022 anime season is officially behind us, and Lycoris Recoil was voted as the best anime of the season by our fans! The anime was extraordinary from the start, and A-1 Pictures d delivered an amazing original anime. A total 43,675 people voted throughout the season, and Call of the Night was the show in 2nd place. The score was calculated based on the weekly results, as well as the votes it got in the final “Anime of the Season” poll. More details here.

As mentioned before, Lycoris Recoil is an original anime by A-1 Pictures. Following the incredible reception, the franchise announced both a manga and light novel adaptations. Its performance on our weekly polls was also outstanding, taking the top for the first 3 weeks in a row. After dropping in week 5, it reclaimed the throne in week 5, and it was also first in week 6, week 8 and week 10. Its overall ranking throughout the season:
