Miyu Tomita Joins Genshin Impact Cast as Layla

Voice actress Miyu Tomita is joining the Japanese voice cast of the Genshin Impact game as Layla- a sleepy four-star Cryo sword user who will be released in the second half of the upcoming 3.2 patch. She will be sharing banners with Childe and Yae Miko, who are having their reruns. Miyu Tomita as Layla can be heard in the Japanese trailer for  “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises” update:

The English trailer is also out, but no announcement about the English voice actor has been revealed yet. The first half of the update with feature Nahida’s banner, as well as Yoimiya’s rerun. A Thousand Floating Dreams catalyst will accompany Nahida’s banner as the new 5-star weapon. Layla will be the only new four-star character in the update and the first Cryo four-star since Rosaria’s release.

Miyu Tomita is a Japanese voice actress, known among anime fans as Riko from Made in Abyss, Miko Iino in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War franchise, Ebisu from Dorohedoro, and more. She voiced characters in various games, including Kafka in Arknights and Petit Albert in the Smile of the Arsnotoria.
