I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss anime revealed a new trailer and visual for the second act of the anime. The second act began with the 5th episode, which aired on October 22. The anime itself premiered in September on Abema’s online service, while the TV premiere was set for October 1st.
In addition to the trailer, new cast members were also introduced. The new characters are featured both in the trailer and the visual. They are:
- Soma Saito as Zems
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Auguste
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Walt
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyle
- Ayana Taketatsu as Serena
- Rie Murakawa as Rachel
Maho Film is animating the series, with Kumiko Habara as the director. Kenta Ihara is doing the series composition. Eri Kojima, Momoko Makiuchi, and Yuko Oba are on character designs. Rie Takahashi is voicing the ritual villainess, Aileen Lauren d’Autriche while Yuichirou Umehara is Claude Jeanne Elmir.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
Aileen Lauren d’Autriche’s wedding plans have been suddenly canceled—by her own fiancé! The shock of this jolted her into remembering she’s been reincarnated in an otome game as the villainess. As she recalls, her fate is one of doom, but maybe she can avoid it by marrying the final boss, the Demon King Claude. Her new game plan—seduce the Demon King and live happily ever after.
I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss anime is based on a light novel series written by Sarasa Nagase. It was first published as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in May 2017, before being acquired by Kadokawa Shoten. It has been serialized since September 2018 in the Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint with illustrations by Mai Murasaki. A manga adaptation by Anko Yuzu is also ongoing.
