More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers Announces Additional Cast, October 9 Premiere

The anime adaptation of More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers has announced additional cast members, as well as an October 9 premiere date.

The additional cast members are Minami Takahashi as Sachi Takamiya, Azumi Waki as Natsumi Oohashi, Yui Ogura as Mei Hamano, Sho Nogami as Sadaharu Kamo, and Shuichi Uchida as Shu Terafune. Previously-announced cast members include Saori Onishi as Akari Watanabe, Seichiro Yamashita as Jiro Yakuin, Saki Miyashita as Shiori Sakurazaka, Toshiki Masuda as Minami Tenjin.

More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers – Trailer

Studio Mother is animating the series, with Junichi Yamamoto as the director. Takao Koto is credited as the chief director, while Naruhisa Arakawa is in charge of the series composition. The theme songs are “True Fool Love” by Liyuu as the opening and “Stuck on You” by Nowlu as the ending theme.

More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers is based on a manga series by Yuki Kanamaru. It has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace magazine since March 2018. Kadokawa has described the upcoming anime series as:
Jiro Yakuin, a dull high school boy, ends up living with a cute gal named Akari Watanabe in the “Fu-fu Jishyu”. The two, who are in love with someone else, decide to play husband and wife for real in order to exchange partners. However, during their married life, they learn of each other’s attraction to each other and become aware of each other’s attraction to each other….
