The anime My Hero Academia and the author of the manga series celebrated Halloween 2021 with special illustrations. The official twitter account of the TV anime series posted an illustration of character Toga Himiko today, on October 31, 2021. Last night, October 30, Horikoshi Kohei also tweeted “Halloween” with an illustration.
First, you can check out the anime character Toga Himiko’s Halloween cosplay. She is wearing a pumpkin on her head and a black robe colored red inside. In addition to the features, she is holding a knife seemingly dripping blood – her favorite. She is actually spilling it out of her mouth. We never know if it’s real or fake. The tweet simply says “It’s Halloween”.
Now, let’s see Horikoshi Kohei’s My Hero Academia Halloween illustration for 2021.
It depicts Hado Nejire, a UA high school student saying “Trick or”, and Eri, a little girl finishing the Halloween phrase with “Treat”. Both of them are dressed in Witch costumes. Someone beside them is wearing a pumpkin head just like Toga Himiko, but unlike her, there aren’t any features to identify the name.
Horikoshi Kohei has been running My Hero Academia in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The series released its 32nd volume on October 4, 2021. It received anime adaptations and TV Anime Season 5 was airing last season, and they announced Season 6 is in the works.
