My Hero Academia Celebrates 100th Episode with a New Visual

My Hero Academia 100th episode is airing this Saturday, on June 12th, 2021. The anime is currently on its 5th season.

The official Twitter account for the series tweeted the visual earlier, with a special thank-you message:

My Hero Academia is based on a manga by Kouhei Horikoshi and has been publishing since 2014. It currently has 315 chapters. Studio Bones produced the first season of anime adaptation in 2016. It has since received 4 sequel seasons, as well as 3 movies. The first movie titled My Hero Academia Movie: Two Heroes came out in 2018, while Heroes: Rising came out a year later. The latest movie, World Heroes’ Mission is coming out in August 2021.

Funimation licensed the popular anime and describes the plot as:
Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.

Episode 12 of season 5, which is also My Hero Academia’s 100th episode, is airing this Saturday.
