My Hero Academia Manga To Take A Week-long Break

Kohei Horikoshi’s “My Hero Academia” manga will be absent from the next Weekly Shonen Jump issue, which will be this year’s 51st issue and published on November 20 in Japan. His author’s comment this week was: “Sorry for needing to take a break again. I really don’t want to…but please be patient.”

The story is very tense at the moment, and the latest chapter ended on a huge cliffhanger. (Don’t worry, won’t spoil anything.) The series also took a week-long break in October, so it’s a bit surprising that there will be another one so soon. However, the most important thing is for Horihoshi-sensei to feel well, and he’s sure to deliver an epic chapter when he gets back! As for when, it will release on November 29th. It will be the 52nd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump of this year.

To add some words, My Hero Academia manga first started in July 2014. Published by Shueisha, it currently has 28 released volumes. The series also received a TV anime adaptation, and it has 4 seasons so far. The 5th is also confirmed, and it is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2021.

There is also a Winter event ongoing in Japan, featuring mini-games, food and merch from My Hero Academia!
