My Hero Academia Picks the Best Volume Cover

Horikoshi Kohei’s My Hero Academia is holding a contest for the best volume cover. You can cast your vote on the official form, where you have to select your favorite and submit the answer. The voters can also add their own reasoning as to why they selected that specific cover. The voting ends on November 21st and the results will be announced at the upcoming Jump Festa’s Jump Super Stage, on December 19th at 2:40 pm (JST).

The author Horikoshi Kohei revealed on Twitter that he also participated in the My Hero Academia contest saying, “I can’t saywhat I voted for, but I did.”

My Hero Academia

The manga-ka launched the work in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014. The series released its 32nd volume on October 4, 2021, and all of them are part of the poll.

My Hero Academia Volume 1

Viz Media licensed the English version and describes the plot as:

Midoriya inherits the superpower of the world’s greatest hero, but greatness won’t come easy.

What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called Quirks? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy, of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?

The series also inspired anime adaptation, which currently has 5 seasons. Season 6 is in the works.
