My Hero Academia Reveals New Trailer For Season 5

The official Twitter account for My Hero Academia has shared a new trailer for season 5. It features the new opening theme song “No. 1” by DISH// and you can check it out below:

In addition, they announced that the peggies will perform the ending theme “Ashiato”. The band released a short message to commemorate the announcement:

The anime will premiere in exactly 1 month on March 27. It will likely animate the Joint Training Arc, alhough it might go into the Meta Liberation Army Arc as well. I guess everyone already knows it at this point, but the synopsis of the story goes:

“Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.”

My Hero Academia Season 5 will reveal some awesome things for our heroes, and this trailer shows some of the match ups for the Class A vs Class B. Class B also has some really cool quirks, and they’re sure to give our favorites some trouble. I’m also one of the fans who’s already excited for it!
