Futaba and Takeda show that they actually care for each other in episode 4 of My Senpai is Annoying. Futaba got fever due to cold weather, which leads to many interesting events in this episode.

Having a fever during Winter is pretty common. Futaba is really lucky that Takeda acts like a reliable senpai to her. He even went straight to Futaba’s house after work to bring food, saving her the trouble of going to a convenience store. What’s more, Takeda is also the one who cooked the food he brought. Futaba is really grateful to him and I wouldn’t be surprised if she really falls in love with him. The next day, Futaba’s fever is gone and swore to Takeda that she will repay his kindness soon.
Because of what happened to Futaba, Takeda realized that he needs a smartphone in order to easily reach his other officemates. This time, however, it’s Futaba’s turn to help Takeda. According to her, she only helped Takeda to buy a smartphone in order to return the favor. For me, Futaba is just being a tsundere. She was even embarrassed when she asked Takeda to exchange their phone numbers.
After a few days, Takeda is the one who gets a fever. Of course, Futaba can’t ignore this as Takeda helped her when she was sick. The funny thing is that Futaba also arrived at Takeda’s apartment just when he was about to buy food. Looking back at the start of the episode, Takeda also arrived at Futaba’s apartment when she was about to do the same.
While she was still in Takeda’s apartment, Futaba also cooked for him and it seems that her cooking won his heart.
The My Senpai is Annoying episode 4 ended with Takeda asking Futaba to cook him another meal. It seems that their relationship is really developing in each episode. Igarashi Futuba’s new job would be great if her senpai, Takeda Harumi, wasn’t so incredibly annoying! Futuba hates his laugh, she hates how big he is, and she really hates that he treats her like a little kid. Just because Futuba is short and looks young doesn’t make her a kid, and just because she spends so much time with Takeda doesn’t mean she sees him as anything but an annoying senpai…or does she?!
