Netflix's Yasuke Is an Introduction to a Larger Project

Flying Lotus, the musician responsible for Yasuke’s soundtrack, tweeted on April 29, 2021, that the “Yasuke” anime is just an introduction to a bigger project. What’s more, he added, “We have big plans for Yasuke. This is just a beginning.”

“Yasuke” is a Netflix original anime that premiered on April 29 globally on their platform. Studio MAPPA (“Attack on Titan”, “Jujutsu Kaisen”) was in charge of the production, and LeSean Thomas (“Cannon Busters”) was the director of the 6 episodes long show.
