Oshi no Ko anime is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). It is animated by studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie), with Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) as director and Saori Tachibana (Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as the assistant director. Jin Tanaka (Laid-Back Camp) is writing the series composition while Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is adapting the character designs from the manga. YOASOBI is performing the opening song titled “Idol” while the ending theme song titled “Mephisto” is sung by Queen Bee. Rie Takahashi (Megumin in Konosuba, Tomo Aizawa in Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) voices Ai Hoshino.

HiDIVE is streaming the anime and they described the series as follows:
Dr. Goro is reborn as the son of the young starlet Ai Hoshino after her delusional stalker murders him. Now, he wants to help his new mother rise to the top, but what can a child do about the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry?

I can talk about seiyuus for days. A connoisseur of cute girls doing cute things and fluffy romance stories always make me smile. I mostly watch slice-of-life and rom-coms with drama on the side.
