Oshi no Ko Season 3 Announces 1-Hour Special Finale

The finale episode of Oshi no Ko Season 3 will be a 1-hour special, slated to premiere next week on March 25. The third season currently has 10 episodes available. The series teased that the production of the movie “The 15 Year Lie” has begun.

Studio Doga Kobo is animating the third season with Daisuke Hiramaki as director. Jin Tanaka writes the script, while Kanna Hirayama is designing the characters. The cast includes:

  • Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino
  • Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino
  • Megumi Han as Kana Arima
  • Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa
  • Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho
  • Lynn as Miyako Saito
  • Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino

The first season premiered in March 2023 and swept our seasonal rankings in Spring 2023. The second season was also voted as the most anticipated anime of Summer 2024.

Crunchyroll and HIDIVE are streaming the series and the former describes the plot of Season 3 as follows:
It’s been six months since “POP IN 2” was released. Thanks to MEM-Cho’s hard work, B-Komachi is about to get their major break. Aqua is a multi-talented entertainer, and Akane’s career as a talented actress is going smoothly. Meanwhile, Kana lost the cheerfulness she once had. To track down the truth behind Ai and Goro’s deaths, Ruby keeps rising in the entertainment world…
